SKATE 3 arriving May 14th
Do you hear that? It’s the sound of Tony Hawk crying.
Mr Hawk used to rule this genre; but in 2007 a skate boarding upstart appeared and gave Tony a massive bloody lip – and the SKATE franchise was born.
Fast forward three years and times have changed. The latest Tony Hawk game – Ride – was well and truly panned, with some people declaring it broken. If there ever was a chance for EA to take a firm hold of the skate genre, this is it.
The big thing this time is team building. You are given the choice to build your ultimate team both offline and co-operatively, before taking on new challenges or battling other teams.
You will be hitting the streets of Port Caverton – a true skater’s paradise with unique districts, skate parks, and endless lines.
For fans with a creative flair, the new Skate Park editor will allow you to create your own dream plaza or mega-ramp park from scratch or use the Object Dropper to alter the landscape of Port Carverton to change the face of the city.
You will be given the tools to build and share your own skate parks, videos, and photos with all your friends by uploading them directly from the console or importing custom created graphics & logos from the SKATE website
SKATE 3 features a deep roster of the world’s greatest skaters including several Thrasher Skater of the Year winners.
