Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions looks Amazing

Submitted by on Tuesday, 30 March 201011 Comments

The debut trailer for Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions has been released. Could this be the Spider-Man game that fans have been waiting for?

When the first details for the next Spider-Man game were revealed, it really didn’t sound too good. After all, Beenox Studios is making the game. These are the developers behind titles such as Bee Movie and Monsters vs. Aliens.

The trailer gives us hope though as this doesn’t seem like any Spider-Man game we’ve ever played. Instead of just sticking to a single Spider-Man universe, the game will feature four different Spider-Man dimensions. Only the first two have been revealed so far. There’s the ‘Amazing’ Spider-Man, which is the one that everyone knows and loves, and then there is the ‘Noir’ version of Spidey, and he’s from the 1930’s during the time of the Great Depression.

As you can see from the trailer, the visuals change between both worlds. The Amazing Spider-Man has the classic comic book visuals, while the Noir setting is dark and gritty. You’ll notice that at the end of the trailer we get to see first person mechanics. Will we be able to switch view points throughout the game? We’ll have to wait and see.

Until next time, True Believers, check out the screenshots below.
