North American PS Store Update For April 29th – Not a bad way to end the Thursday tradition

This is actually a pretty good update! You can buy the PixelJunk 3-in-1 pack for only $9.99! That’s an incredible deal! As if that wasn’t enough, PixelJunk Monsters, Eden, and Shooter are now half priced! Amazing!

Thanks to the release of Uber Super Street Fighter IV II Turbo HD Awesomesauce Remix, the Street Fighter costumes for LittleBigPlanet are on sale. You can get an individual costume for $.99 or the whole pack for $3.

There are two downloadable games this week and a demo for Wakeboarding HD. Kick-Ass was a pretty kick ass movie, right? Well, now you can play the game! Hopefully it’s just as good. Record of Agarest War is also available on the PSN. It’s a 9GB download, so make sure you have space…

There’s lots of add-on content this week too. Episodes 4-6 for Blue Toad Murder Files, Super Street Fighter IV costumes (Hakan, Makoto, Guy, Dudley, and Dee Jay), MAG, Mega Man 10, and more! Tons of Dynamic Themes as well. You can even buy the amazing soundtrack for Shatter. Oh my!

Don’t forget that starting on May 4th the PS Store will update on Tuesdays. Enjoy!

Bungie don’t fear the PS3

Bungie has never made a game for the PS3, that notoriously difficult platform to develop for (or so we’re told). Can they cope? Of course they can. With “some of the best engineering folks in the industry on board”, community manager Brian Jarrard believes the developers are well equipped to tame the beast.

European PS Store Update For 29th April – Farewell Thursday Updates, We’ll Miss You

This is the final Thursday update for the PS Store in Europe. Starting on May 5th, the Store will now update on Wednesdays. So what new content is there for this week? Not much.

LittleBigPlanet is celebrating the release of Super Street Fighter IV by reducing the price of the Street Fighter LBP costumes. In case you never noticed, a certain PS3Attitude writer uses a Chun-Li sackgirl gravatar. :)

Wakeboarding HD finally has a demo. Many of our readers have been waiting for this demo for quite some time. Yay! The lone downloadable game for this week is Puzzle Chronicles.

On the add-on side of things there is the Trials of St. Lucia. This adds online multiplayer and content creation to Dante’s Inferno. Give us your impressions, we would love to read them. There’s also DLC for Mega Man 10 and alternate costumes for Super Street Fighter IV (Hakan, Makoto, Guy, Dudley, and Dee Jay).

Don’t forget about FirstPlay Episode 4 and the new dynamic themes that are now available. There is a theme for Mega Man 10, White Knight Chronicles, and Wakeboarding HD (free).

Enjoy!

It has now been announced that staff and ex-staff from Infinity Ward are suing Activision for – amongst other things – withholding bonuses from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Will someone please make this into a movie?
