There are two downloadable games this week and a demo for Wakeboarding HD. Kick-Ass was a pretty kick ass movie, right? Well, now you can play the game! Hopefully it’s just as good. Record of Agarest War is also available on the PSN. It’s a 9GB download, so make sure you have space…

Bungie has never made a game for the PS3, that notoriously difficult platform to develop for (or so we’re told). Can they cope? Of course they can. With “some of the best engineering folks in the industry on board”, community manager Brian Jarrard believes the developers are well equipped to tame the beast.
This is the final Thursday update for the PS Store in Europe. Starting on May 5th, the Store will now update on Wednesdays. So what new content is there for this week? Not much.

Wakeboarding HD finally has a demo. Many of our readers have been waiting for this demo for quite some time. Yay! The lone downloadable game for this week is Puzzle Chronicles.
On the add-on side of things there is the Trials of St. Lucia. This adds online multiplayer and content creation to Dante’s Inferno. Give us your impressions, we would love to read them. The second developer video has been released for F1 2010, where the team discuss trying to appeal to a wider audience as possible by making a realistic but also entertaining racing game.

Sony Online Entertainment and indie videogame developer Rockin’ Android announced today a collaborative effort, in which the two companies will localize, produce and release doujin, or Japanese-style indie video games, for the PSN.

It’s been revealed that the behind the scenes commentary for the Monkey Island 2 Special Edition will feature designers Ron Gilbert, Dave Grossman and Tim Schafer, and to wet our appetites for the ultimate pirate game being (re)released this summer (is it the only one?), LucasArts have unveiled a teaser trailer of the three of them chatting away. Arrr!
There are only a few weeks left until Sony takes its ‘Play, Create, Share’ ethos to the race track, and ModNation Racers hits the shops. We already know about several of the games bonus characters, but we were promised more – and that’s a promise Sony has made good on.
