Co-op coming to Blacklight: Tango Down in the form of Black Ops

Blacklight: Tango Down is claiming to be a huge downloadable title coming to the PSN this summer and it now just got bigger. In addition to a decent single player campaign and competitive multiplayer modes, Tango Down will be getting a co-op mode called Black Ops.

This mode features you and a partner fighting your way through the futuristic city of Balik and defeat members of The Order, the opposing faction. Just like the single player campaign, you’ll earn upgrades and experience points to customize your character.

At the end of each co-op scenario, you’ll be given a score based on how well you did and the difficulty. This all can be tracked with the online leaderboards as well.

“With Blacklight: Tango Down, we are raising the bar for what gamers can expect from DLC, with the kind of experience that traditionally is found in AAA retail game,” said Ajay Chadha, President of Worldwide Publishing, Ignition Entertainment. “Cooperative play is a critical part of today’s multiplayer experience, and Blacklight: Tango Down will deliver on this fun and dramatic way to play alongside three of your friends. This kind of elite content is what separates Blacklight: Tango Down from other DLC and makes it the most fully featured downloadable-only shooter available on any console or PC.”
