Konami set to release Rush’N Attack remake

Submitted by on Monday, 12 April 2010No Comment

The PSN will be getting some retro goodness later this year, as Konami is set to release a remake of the classic – Rush’N Attack.

Better break out the old combat knives.

Titled Rush’N Attack Ex Patriot, the game takes place ten years after the end of the cold war.  Players will be taking control of Sergeant Sid Morrow – call sign ‘Wolf Spider’ – and member of a secret CIA splinter called ‘Harvest’.

Morrow’s assignment is simple – retrieve an abandoned member of Harvest, re-evaluate Russia’s missile threat and sabotage it if necessary.  Sounds easy – it should be done by lunchtime.

Standing in your way are elite Russian forces, and the fact you only have a knife.  If you want a better weapon you’re going to have to scrounge for it.

Players choose their own gameplay style by moving through each level loud and fast or silent and deadly.

Epic stealth failure!

You will almost always be outnumbered,  and must avoid constant detection from guards and the unblinking eyes of security cameras.

Key Features include;

  • Stealth Combat Action – Using both stealth and brute force, you will escape from your imprisonment with a new level of action.
  • Fast Paced Platforming – Stay sharp and move quickly as you progress towards your objectives through challenging platforming.
  • Massive Levels – Fight your way through three environments with multiple levels full of hidden items, secret locations, and relentless soldiers trying to track you down.
  • Killer Graphics – Built on the Unreal Engine, you will have a visual feast that is unparalleled in other downloadable games.

So – is anyone up for some knife related madness?
