EA Sports have unveiled new footage for their upcoming mixed martial arts title, EA Sports MMA. The in-game footage features excessive posturing from various MMA superstars as well as some brutally violent sparring.

EA Sports MMA is shaping up nicely, but can it compete with the established UFC 2010 Undisputed from THQ?

The trailer begins by introducing King Mo, Gegard Mousasi, Don Henderson, Jake Shields, Shinya Aoki and Gilbert Melendez as their lifelike character models pose on the way to the ring

It’s then showtime. We are bombarded by 23 seconds of assaults, thuds, bangs, grunts and groans as the fighters try to tear apart their opponents. The trailer ends with the words, “now it’s a fight.”

EA Tiburon’s creation feels real; the collision detection is spot on and the pacing is just right. Want to see more? Check out out previous post on the game.
