One of the main aspects of ZEN Studios’ upcoming Planet MiniGolf is the ability to build and customize entire golf courses. The latest trailer showcases the create feature and how easy it is to create a variety of holes, complete with obstacles and power-ups.

You can choose from a variety of endings, straights, curves, crossings, planes, and even tees when building your ultimate dream course. Once that’s complete, you can fill it with animated or dynamic obstacles and power-ups. Animated objects are constantly moving, such as the alien shown, while dynamic ones interact with the ball, usually with the help of a power-up. Much like LittleBigPlanet, there’s a meter to keep track of how much stuff you put in your course so plan carefully before you start building.

We expect to see some fantastic courses built within a matter of days of its release later this spring. Seeing as they created two holes in two minutes, we don’t think it’ll be that difficult.
