The PS3 Slim goes portable with LCD display
When Sony announced the PlayStation 3 Slim, we expected it to be lighter and smaller – certainly easier to move around. What we didn’t expect was that the PS3 would become a trusted travel accessory. Well now it could, thanks to a fancy new LCD screen created by Hori. The screen is docked into the HD slot at the back of the PS3, and is capable of producing 720p images. It’s got 1366×768 resolution, built-in speakers and can be folded down to make it easier to carry around. It’s very stylish and looks perfectly natural on the PS3. The small Japanese company plan to release the screen in Japan on 27th May for about $264. Let’s hope it can make its way to the rest of the world at a later date. So guys and girls, could you see this being useful? [Source: Kotaku]
