Tony Hawk has been a bit of a naughty chap today and leaked the name of his next game via Twitter.

Activision is not going to be happy – in fact they have most likely summoned the Acti-ninjas.

We aren’t sure the reason behind his moment of rebellion, but we can imagine Activision would have liked to announce the game at E3 rather than on a social networking site.

It does seem to be the rage though – a new game can get a lot of focus and attention from a simple 140 character tweet.  Needless to say the comment has been removed.

Hawk’s Twitter page read as follows;

“Tony Hawk: Shred. There, I said it,Actually, I named it. Somewhere a PR team is reeling.”

Yes, well done Tony aren’t you the big man – perhaps this time your game won’t be a buggy mess priced at £100.

That would be something to get excited about.
