Call of Duty set to follow Modern Warfare pricing?
After the outrage against Activision for raising the RRP for Modern Warfare 2 last year, it looks like the same will happen with Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Despite MW2s high price tag, the game sold extremely well so perhaps it is not surprising that all signs in the UK at least are pointing for a similar treatment for the next Call of Duty.
Both Amazon.co.uk, GAME and Play.com are listing the game’s RRP as £54.99, that’s £5 higher than the usual price for games. Although we should point out that they are offering their own discounts as well.
How do you feel about a higher price tag?
