Fan of RPGs? Like cute anime characters? If so, you’ll probably be interested in Atelier Rorona.

2010 is the year of the Role Playing Game for PS3 owners. Where were these games during the painful RPG drought?! It’s such a shame that we haven’t seen more from this genre.

Nippon Ichi Software has been working on bringing Atelier Rorona to North America since last June. It looks like we’ll finally be able to play an English version soon.

In a recent Q&A session with NIS America, here is what NISA’s Nick Doerr had to say regarding Rorona’s release date:

I can provide a general window, but it’s not one of my projects so I can’t say anything too definite. I would expect it this Fall.

Fall isn’t too far away. Perhaps we’ll learn more after the sequel, Atelier Totori, hits Japan this June. Actually, we wouldn’t be too surprised if a more precise release date was announced at E3.
