It seems that someone has put a rocket up Square Enix – as they have announced that development on the PSN version of Final Fantasy IX is now complete.

That was so quick even Superman had to do a double take!

Readers will remember that it was this time last month that we reported on the official confirmation of Final Fantasy IX for the PSN.  Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto has confirmed via Twitter that the game is finished.

It will now have to go through the testing phase – and we have been promised a further update shortly.
