LittleBigPlanet 2 will support PlayStation Move

You’ve all seen the announcement trailer by now right?  Plus the wealth of information we reported on earlier?  Awesome – but it seems that LittleBigPlanet 2 is set to offer even more in the form of Move support.

Sackboy – we heart you!

The Internet has gone LittleBigPlanet crazy – and with good reason.  Very rarely has a two minute teaser trailer caused such a stir.

We did wonder how Media Molecule could justify creating a sequel – but they have totally pulled it off.

LittleBigPlanet 2 will also be flying the Move flag.  Speaking to CVG, Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evan had the following to say;

“With Move we’re going to go the whole hog. You’ll be able to get a Direct Control Move Seat and be able to wire up the Move however you like. We won’t come in and dictate ‘this is how Move works in LittleBigPlanet’.

That does mean we may not get Move out for the Blu Ray [release] – it may have to be DLC. In fact it will almost certainly have to be DLC but I’m hoping that on day one there will be playable Move levels.”

Winter 2010 can’t come quick enough.
