The first trailer for LittleBigPlanet 2 shows a lot of love.

Here is where the salient details come in; GamesAid raise money. The industry support them in this endeavour. And what is the best way to support a charity? Give them all the profits from a great gaming triple-pack, that’s what!
They say that imitation is the highest form of flattery. If that is the case, then the folks over at Nintendo should be blushing. 3D Dot Game Heroes is reminiscent of the Legend of Zelda titles, taking the classic overhead adventure game and reinventing it for the PlayStation 3. Gone is the flat and 2D realm of the 8-bit era, instead replaced by a glorious multitude of cubes and colors.
Off in the far away kingdom of Dotnia there was once a hero who overthrew the evil Dark King Onyx using the power of six magical orbs and his legendary sword. He sealed the evil one inside a Dark Orb, hoping that he would never return.
Flash forward a long, long time and here we are in the present day where the entire kingdom has upgraded to a new 3D look by order King Tezro. All is not well in the kingdom though as the evil Bishop Fuelle has stolen the Dark Orb and plans to release the Dark King. It is up to you, the hero, to defeat the bishop and restore peace to the land before anything else goes awry.
Much has been written about Demon’s Souls, but sometimes seeing a game in action can make or break a day one purchase.

Irish PS3 owners will soon be able to download FirstPlay with episodes getting a release from 19th May onwards. FirstPlay is Europe’s answer to Qore and the first HD interactive show for gamers in the EU territory. It was released back in March but users from the Emerald Isles have been missing out.
Capcom’s financial results for the year ended 31 March don’t make pleasant reading; the company have reported a 73% fall in profits to £494.4m as annual sales dropped by 27% to 16m.
The company blame the “sluggish” sales on the delays for Super Street Fighter IV, Lost Planet 2 and the oversees release of Monster HunterTri which all slipped into the next fiscal year.
The Monopoly brand is reaching its 75th anniversary this year and to celebrate, Hasbro has teamed up with EA to bring the family friendly board game to consoles this fall. For the first time ever, Monopoly Streets will feature a fully 3D and dynamic environment.

The waters of E3 have been choppy as of late. The convention was well known for its size and grandeur, but it was this that led to its eventual reduction in size as companies struggled to foot the bill for large and lavish stands.
The new look E3 tanked though – as it equated to nothing more than a few boring looking meetings. Last year saw a partial return to the E3 of old, but apparently that was nothing to what we can expect this year.
