Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars Receives Limited Time 50% Price Cut

Submitted by on Tuesday, 25 May 2010No Comment

We almost wish Psyonix would stop offering free updates and price cuts for this game, because we’re still struggling with the name.

Oh well, best to just get it over with.

So the news is that Psyonix Studio’s self-published Unreal powered PSN downloadable title Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars (and breathe) is to receive a 50% price cut, valid from now until June 15th.

Unfortunately for our European readers the offer is only for the NTSC region, and unfortunately for us there was no suggestion that the length of the title would also receive a similar 50% reduction.

Now as you know we here at Attitude Towers aren’t big fans of rumour and speculation. But it is worth mentioning that last time SARPBC (much better) received a 50% cut in the NTSC region the same offer arrived ‘across the pond’ in Europe a month later, so PAL territories may be in luck yet.

According to Psyonix the reduction is in celebration of the forthcoming 2010 World Cup, and while we’re of the opinion that there are more accurate representations of the beautiful game available on the system we never argue with a substantial price drop!

So will any of our readers be recreating the World Cup action with tiny cars replacing the players at this new $4.99 price point?
