Get ready for the next battle!

Eurogamer.pt is reporting that Katsuhiro Harada announced that Tekken 7 is currently in production and that the game is in the very early stages of development.

The announcement was made during a conference at the European Institute of Design in Madrid. There were 200 individuals in attendance and they learned about the various challenges that occur during development. For those unaware, Harada-san has been the producer and director of the Tekken series since the very beginning.

If you’re a fan of the fighting game genre, definitely check out Tekken 6 if you haven’t done so already. While it’s easy to nitpick about many of the annoyances, the gameplay still reigns supreme. Be sure to read our awesome Tekken 6 review.

According to the producer of the Tekken series there was no such announcement of Tekken 7.
