Those keeping a close tab on the game will already have received the email – but as of yesterday evening signups for the Test Drive Unlimited 2 BETA have begun.

This is definitely one worth getting excited about.

Public BETA testing is very much the in vogue thing to do with your game lately.  If you get it right – a-la Halo Reach – then the game will shoot to the top of everyone’s most wanted list.

Then of course there is the reams of data and feedback that will be reported – something that a small group of tester could never replicate.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 is a game that will benefit hugely from a public BETA.  This online racer and its huge Island will no doubt have a million bugs to iron out before launch.
