Shades?  Check.  Cool jacket?  Check.  It’s time to feel the need…the need for speed as Top Gun will be blasting its way onto the PSN.

Top Gun is set to deliver a missile barrage to After Burner Climax.  The game is an air combat shooter, where you can enter the exclusive academy as Maverick, with your wingman Goose by your side.  The aim of this is to get good enough to be sent out into the danger zone.  Sorry but the quotes aren’t going to stop!

As well as featuring various planes to use, Top Gun will have two single player modes.  Mode one is Campaign – which will mimic the film in terms of training and then being sent out on missions.  Mode two is Horde Mode – where you will fight an endless wave of bad guys, who get progressively tougher.

Five multiplayer modes are being included, allowing up to 16 people to battle it out it online.

No news yet on a Goose CPR mini game – but we live in hope.
