Battlefield: Bad Company 2 – co-op DLC is on the way

Submitted by on Thursday, 10 June 20103 Comments

EA today announced that a co-op mode will be available for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on June 22 in North America with Europe receiving the DLC on the following day. The new mode is called Onslaught, and it will allow up to four players to tackle objective based missions together.

The news was posted on the Battlefield Blog. The post was fairly shy on details but we did find out the pricing of the DLC , it will be $9.99 in North America and 8.99€ in Europe – so not exactly cheap.

Onslaught will come with an online leaderboard, so players can show off their best scores to their mates and the rest of the world. It was also revealed that new trophies will be coming with the DLC.

It may not be cheap, but having co-op coming soon to Bad Company 2 is good news. Hopefully we’ll get a chance to test Onslaught, so we can let you know if it’s worth the money or not.
