BlazBlue: Continuum Shift set for European release in October
It has just been announced that BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, the sequel to the acclaimed 2D fighter BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, will finally be coming to Europe in October.
Last week, we brought you the news that Continuum Shift would be releasing in North America in July, less than a month after its release in Japan, but a date for Europe had not yet been confirmed.
Despite Zen United claiming that they are working on bringing the game over as soon as possible, we were worried that Europe wouldn’t see it before the end of the year. This certainly wasn’t out of the question, as Calamity Trigger was only released in Europe in April, nearly a year after its original June 2009 release in Japan and North America.
However, this latest announcement proves that our worries were unfounded, as Europeans will only have to wait four months after Japan and North America before they can sample the new story, modes and characters for themselves. If we’re honest, it would have been nice to get it a little sooner, but at least the gaps are getting smaller!
