E3 10; Brink delayed until 2011
The title pretty much says it all with this one. Splash Damage’s highly anticipated FPS – Brink – has done a runner from 2010′s release schedule, and set up camp in 2011.
This might actually be a good thing.
It’s not the first time Brink has been delayed. Originally it was set for a spring release, which was then pushed back to autumn.
Whilst many will be disappointed by this news, we feel it may actually turn out for the best. The huge raft of games heading our way towards the back end of 2010 is intimidating to say the least – and that’s before you take into account the new motion control peripherals.
Placing Brink in 2011 gives it a bit of breathing room – although don’t be too surprised if a few other games join it there.
