North American PS Store Update For June 22nd – Outlaws to the End

This week is pretty lame. The only good content that’s available is for Red Dead Redemption. Yup, that’s right! The Outlaws to the End co-op expansion is finally out! Woot! There’s also the Interdiction Mission pack for MAG.

Other than that there’s a bunch of price drops on everything Sonic related. Blue Toad Murder Files Episode 1 is only $1.49. The Fallen Star DLC for Warhawk is only $1.99 now as well. These are incredible deals!

Since we didn’t get to cover last week’s E3 PS Store updates we’ll do a quick recap!

Final Fantasy IX.

That is all you need to know.

Actually, you might want to consider looking into the Gundemonium Collection for all your shmup needs.

E3 10; Hands-on with Nyko’s new Raven controller

Third party controllers and accessories tend to be either shoddy imitations of the real thing or souped-up behemoths costing an arm and a leg.

Nyko have been in this business for over ten years now and have created a wide variety of game accessories at lower costs then their first party counterparts. Some are good and some are bad, but the upcoming Raven controller shown at E3 takes things to a new level with its premium status.

Did you miss the Sony press conference last week?

It’s now available in its entirety on the US PlayStation Store, but for those of you who don’t have the connection speed and/or time to download and watch over 4 gigabytes of video, we thought we’d give you an in-depth rundown of all the announcements made at the conference.

Some stories have already been featured on PS3 Attitude, while others haven’t, as nothing has been omitted from this list.

We’ve even included our take on some of the announcements, as well as links to various trailers and other footage from the show, so you only have to watch the bits you want.

E3 10; Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 – The PS3 Attitude Preview

Bionic Commando Rearmed was a great remake of a classic game. We wanted more and now we’re finally getting it.

Sadly, GRIN is not developing the sequel since the studio closed down shortly after the retail release of Bionic Commando. Instead, the game is being developed by Fatshark.

Don’t let that worry you though, most of the team that worked on Bionic Commando Rearmed moved to Fatshark. The sequel is in good hands.

We were given the opportunity to try the game out for ourselves. Does the inclusion of a jump button really make that much of a difference?

E3 10; Killzone 3 in 3D – The PS3 Attitude Preview

Killzone 3 was the main attraction at the Sony booth during E3 last week. In addition to the multiple widescreen televisions they had demoing the game, there were a few utilizing 3D.

We got the chance to play Killzone 3, and in 3D no less. How does the game stack up so far, and does the 3D do for games what Avatar did for films? Let’s find out!

Heavy Rain DLC put on indefinite hold

It seems like only yesterday that Quantic Dream smashed right through our expectations with the phenomenal Heavy Rain. We, like many others, looked past the faults and savoured the amazing experience that laid beneath.

Sadly it looks like our hopes of returning to the game’s world have been washed away. What? You seriously thought we had run out of water related puns?

E3 10; Zone of the Enders 3 ‘pushed to the back’

It’s sad face time here at Attitude Towers today. As much as we love Hideo Kojima, the man always seems to break out hearts – and this is no exception as he has announced that Zone of the Enders 3 is at the bottom of his ‘games to make’ pile.

Grr…

E3 10; Brink delayed until 2011

E3 10; Brink delayed until 2011

The title pretty much says it all with this one. Splash Damage’s highly anticipated FPS – Brink – has done a runner from 2010′s release schedule, and set up camp in 2011.

This might actually be a good thing.
