Red Dead Redemption co-op coming June 22nd
Rockstar have announced via their website that the first of three DLC packs for Red Dead Redemption, entitled Outlaws to the End, will be released on the PlayStation Network on June 22nd in North America (presumably June 23rd in Europe) – that’s less than three weeks away!
This content pack will be free for all users to download and adds co-op to the game’s already impressive online multiplayer modes. Six missions will be included, which will see you and your friends engaging in activities such as storming a rebel stronghold, and stealing gold bars (what else?).
Three of the missions have already been revealed, and are known as Walton’s Gold, The River, and Ammunition respectively – please go here for all the known details.
Online co-op in Grand Theft Auto IV was great fun to play with friends, and we have a feeling that Red Dead Redemption’s co-op is going to be even better. Riding through the Wild West in a gang of real players sounds like a very interesting proposition, and we couldn’t be more excited to try it for ourselves!
The game will be patched next week in preparation for this DLC, and the update will also fix some glitches and other issues with both the single-player and online multiplayer.
