Toot toot!  All aboard the Twitter hype machine as it will soon be leaving the station.  Yes that’s correct, once again our good friend Twitter is being used for a bit of sneaky viral marketing – and the good news is that it’s implying that Thief is set to hit the PS3.

The Thief games – in our opinion at least – have always been fairly underrated but Eidos Montreal has said that Thief 4 will surprise and impress people.

Up until now no platforms have been announced for the game – but a sly Tweet from the PlayStation Twitter account may have given the game away;

“Oh man: http://www.thief4.com/”

Whilst not exactly full confirmation, we find it hard to believe that the official PlayStation account would Tweet something like that just for giggles.
