This is not your typical third-person shooter.

SEGA released a new trailer for Vanquish a few days ago and the game looks amazing. The official website has details on the story and characters (all in Japanese). There’s also an images section with screens from the trailer.

Despite being a third-person shooter, the gameplay is clearly very unique. The movement is fast paced, dramatic, and filled with pretty explosions. The mechanics are intriguing as well. We see a cover system, dodging, and a bunch of crazy acrobatics. There is so much intensity and over the top awesomeness!
