E3 10; Zone of the Enders 3 ‘pushed to the back’
It’s sad face time here at Attitude Towers today. As much as we love Hideo Kojima, the man always seems to break out hearts – and this is no exception as he has announced that Zone of the Enders 3 is at the bottom of his ‘games to make’ pile.
Grr…
The original game – released in 2001 – saw you play as Leo Starbuck, battling to return a mech to its rightful owners whilst fighting off various enemy mechs. It was a good game but the sequel – released in 2003 – really stepped the game up and had a whole new (beautiful) graphical style.
During a live UStream, Kojima had the following to say;
“Regarding ZOE3, there’s been various things, so it’s been sort of pushed to the back.”
Whilst we can appreciate Kojima is a very busy man, our minds implode when we think how amazing a Zone of the Enders game would be on the PS3.
Let’s just hope it’s been ‘pushed to the back’ of a very small pile.
