Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono teases upcoming Comic-Con announcement
The producer of the Street Fighter IV series posted a mysterious photo on twitter teasing a special announcement at Comic-Con. What does it reveal?
If you didn’t watch the EVO stream last weekend you missed out on some epic teasing from Street Fighter IV’s producer Yoshinori Ono. Even Katsuhiro Harada, the director of Tekken 6, was on stage fueling the barrage of vague teases. The plot thickens…
Ono-san mentioned that a hint could be found on his twitter account (@Yoshi_OnoChin) and it looks like the people at Eventhubs found the tweet.
Check it out:
You’ll notice immediately that controllers for the Xbox 360 and PS3 are included in the picture (there’s also a keyboard). In the background we see CGI Ryu with inkblots in the same art style found in the Street Fighter IV series. It was recently revealed that the arcade version of Super Street Fighter IV is coming along nicely, but this appears to be unrelated.
According to Eventhubs, Ono-san will be at Comic-Con giving a presentation. The description from the itinerary provides some insight on what to expect:

Experience why everyone can’t get enough of Street Fighter! Featuring Seth Killian, Street Fighter special adviser. Followed by a Q&A session. Room 25ABC
Comic-Con begins on July 22nd and ends on the 25th. Will Capcom go the DLC route for Super Street Fighter IV by adding new characters and features or will there be a Turbo edition?
Let the speculation begin!
