Atlus just announced that online support for Demon’s Souls has been extended until at least March 2011 in North America. In celebration of this news, Atlus is shifting the World Tendency to Pure White so that newbies can have an easier time with the game.

We had no idea that the servers for Demon’s Souls were at risk of being shut down any time soon. This announcement is actually pretty alarming. Demon’s Souls is a highly praised title that was successful in the North American market. Why would Atlus even think about shutting down the servers so soon? What’s even worse is that the online population is still very strong.

Demon’s Souls is currently on sale for only $29.99. Now would probably be a good time to buy it, assuming you haven’t done so already. Who knows if the servers will disappear after March 2011…
