More Enslaved Screens Revealed; Release Date Announced

Submitted by on Tuesday, 13 July 20102 Comments

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is a game that we first heard about last summer, and although information has been plentiful as of recently, the game’s developer, Ninja Theory, has given us reason to talk about it once more –  another set of beautiful screenshots and a release date.

Enslaved is a third-person action/adventure game that appears to have a dash of platforming thrown in.

You play the role of a character known as ‘Monkey’ as he tries to navigate across the treacherous terrain of a post-apocalyptic world.  At his side is a character called ‘Trip’.  These two characters apparently share some sort of common connection or goal and will be forced to work together to achieve objectives.

What are those objectives?  Obviously only Ninja Theory knows all of them, but they were recently kind enough to share the game’s release date and the date all the rest of us get to finally play this brilliant looking game.  Mark you calenders for October 5.

Take a look at the new screen below and be sure to tell us what you think.
