FirstPlay Thursday – Week 14
FirstPlay has been with us for a few months now and it’s really starting to get into its stride, with great content appearing every week. But what can you find in this week’s episode?
Overall, it’s a pretty good episode this week. The highlights are reviews of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 and Green Day: Rock Band, and a preview of Ninja Theory’s fantastic-looking second PS3 title, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West.
There are also screenshot galleries for the likes of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Pro Evolution Soccer 11. Could it be fourth time lucky on PS3 for Konami’s struggling football series? According to FirstPlay, it’s looking promising.
As always, this episode can be purchased for 99p, or you can save some money by taking out a 90-day subscription for £8.99.

The complete contents of this week’s episode are as follows:
HD Reviews and Previews
Green Day: Rock Band review – adds nothing new to the RB formula, but, with 47 songs, it’s essential for Green Day fans – 8/10
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 review – decent, but there’s not much to get excited about, unless you can wait for PS Move functionality when it launches in September – 7/10
Enslaved: Odyssey to the West preview – looking incredible, despite blatantly plagiarising certain elements of other games (namely Prince of Persia and Uncharted)
Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief Blu-Ray review – only okay, but seeing Steve Coogan as Hades is a definite highlight – 6/10
