Kane and Lynch: Dog Days Release Pushed Forward
It’s not very often in the games industry that we hear about games being pushed forward. Games get delayed all the time, and it rarely comes a surprise to anyone. In fact, there are some games that are well known for being delayed – we’re looking at you Gran Turismo.
Now, Square Enix is helping to break the mold.
IO Interactive, a division of Square Enix Europe, just announced that their new game, Kane and Lynch: Dog Days, has gone ‘gold’ a touch earlier than expected.
As a result, they’ve changed the release dates in a couple of regions.
The game will now launch on August 17 in North America, and August 20 in Europe and other PAL territories.
The original Kane and Lynch title was met with mixed reviews but Square seems convinced that both the single player and multiplayer components will surpass their original offering.
Any of you readers out there planning on giving this one a look when it hits shelves?
