NHL 11 Soundtrack Revealed

Submitted by on Thursday, 22 July 2010One Comment

EA Sports has long been known for putting out titles with great soundtracks.  Some of their lineups have even helped push some lesser known bands to stardom.

Their NHL series has been no exception to this and EA looks poised and ready to deliver another solid audio offering this fall with the release of NHL 11.

EA says the theme for this years lineup is authenticity.  They set out to successfully recreate what you’d hear in an actual NHL arena if you went to a game – and you should.  Check out the list below.

In Whispers – Here I Stand

Airbourne – Bottom Of The Well – No Guts.  No Glory.

Bullet For My Valentine – Your Betrayal – Fever

Megadeth – Dialectic Chaos – Endgame

Pantera – Walk – Vulgar Display Of Power

Danko Jones – Full of Regret – Below The Belt

2 Unlimited – Twilight Zone – Get Ready!

Black Box – Strike It Up – Dreamland

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club – Mama Taught Me Better – Beat The Devil’s Tattoo

Bouncing Souls – ¡Olé! – Hopeless Romantic

Darude – Sandstorm – Before The Storm

Dropkick Murphys – Shipping Up To Boston (Live) – Live On Lansdowne, Boston MA

Europe – The Final Countdown – The Final Countdown

Foxy Shazam – Unstoppable – Foxy Shazam

Ramones – Blitzkrieg Bop – Ramones

The Black Keys – Howlin’ For You – Brothers

There’s some good music in there.  We personally are very happy to see bands like Megadeth, Pantera and Bullet for my Valentine appear.

Continuing their trend of promoting a few of the less popular bands each year, they’ve added selections like ‘In Whispers’.

Take a quick gander at the list and let us know what your favorite track is, and if you have a spare moment, let us know what your favorite EA track of all time is.
