Electronic Arts and Spice Horse Games have announced Alice: Madness Returns, a sequel to the 2000 PC classic American McGee’s Alice, will be releasing on the PlayStation 3 next year.
The game is set eleven years after the original – which conveniently happens to be the same years since the first game released – and sees the well known protagonist leaving an asylum but continues to suffer from her “nightmarish visions”.
Sucker Punch are very enthusiastic and have high hopes for inFAMOUS 2.

The content for this week is pretty minimal. The latest episode of Sam & Max is the lone downloadable title aside from PSP minis (such as Young Thor). The demo for Kane and Lynch 2 is now available in Europe, which is funny because it’s a PlayStation Plus exclusive in North America.
Aside from the above, everything else is deals and DLC. The deals are pretty good, especially if you enjoy fighting games and beat ‘em ups. Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Final Fight: Double Impact, Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection Online, and Mortal Kombat 2 are all on sale. Take advantage while you can! Even the Super Street Fighter IV alternate costumes received a price cut. Since Revenge of the Wounded Dragons is on sale, you might want to pick that up for some additional beat ‘em up action.
Tameem Antoniades, the co-founder and chief at Ninja Theory, has said that the team have no plans to make future Enslaved games, that their focus is solely on making this Enslaved game great.

Electronic Arts and 38 Studios announce Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. It’s an epic, open-world RPG set in Amalur, a magical world created by best-selling American fantasy novelist R. A. Salvatore (Forgotten Realms, The DemonWars) with Canadian comic book artist Todd McFarlane (Spawn) adding his “trademark visceral style” to the visuals.
Fancy testing some of the PS3′s biggest games before they’re released? Sony has announced PlayStation Beta, an event that starts from Friday 30th of July and lasts till Sunday 1st of August in Birmingham, England.
