Eastasiasoft has just announced an expansion pack for Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype.

Soldner-X 2 is a great game and easily the best shmup on the PlayStation Network. Eastasiasoft sent out a press release today announcing the development of Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype – The Last Chapter, a downloadable expansion pack that will be available later this year.

The Last Chapter adds three new stages, complete with a new soundtrack and ending. The expansion pack also features additional challenges, trophies, and even a new difficulty mode (as if the game wasn’t hard enough as it is).
