Tiesto, one of electronic music’s most popular and successful DJs, will be making his video game debut in DJ Hero 2 this October.

Looking back, Tiesto has quite the track record. The scratching legend has worked with the likes of Muse, Justin Timberlake, Flo Rida, Sean Kingston and Three 6 Mafia and has spawned dozens of albums in the process.

He has opened for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece and been nominated for a Grammy 2008.

Now he will forever be immortalized in a video game.

“DJ Hero 2 is all about bringing people of different backgrounds, ages and music tastes together to have some fun DJ’ing their favorite music. The way the music comes together is fresh and unique and as a DJ, I couldn’t ask for more than that,” said Tiesto. “I am excited to be involved with this medium and to be contributing to a great game with an amazing soundtrack.”

It’s only fitting that he joins fellow DJs David Guetta, Deadmau5, and DJ Qbert as playable characters in the game. With support for two turntables and a microphone and an already impressive set list, DJ Hero 2 is looking to top the original in every way.
