Activision revealed two collector’s editions for Black Ops today. The first of which is the Hardened Edition.

The hardened edition includes Black Ops,  a premium steelbook case, a limited edition collector’s medal and display case, a PlayStation Home avatar outfit, and four additional co-op maps not found in the standard edition.  All of this will be available for $79.99.

Next is the Prestige Edition. This version includes all of the contents of the Hardened Edition but with one major addition, a remote-controlled vehicle. This stalking device was modeled after Black Ops’ killstreak reward. It looks pretty awesome. Here are the features:

• Video & audio sent wirelessly to remote transmitter (200 ft. range)
• 2” backlit TFT 220 x176 color screen built into RC controller
• Digital proportional steering and throttle
• Independent suspension
• High and low speed settings
• Custom pistol grip style RC controller
• Display stand

The Prestige Edition will be available for $149.99/£129.99. If you’re in the UK you can only pre-order this edition through HMV, GAME, and Gamestation. This will most likely sell out fast so you might want to pre-order it now. If you order from Amazon (US) you will receive $20 off your next video game purchase.
