Square Enix has announced that Front Mission 3, the first and only Front Mission to be released in PAL territories, will be coming to the PlayStation Network soon for PS3 and PSP.

For those of you unfamiliar with the series, it is a turn-based strategy RPG featuring giant mechs called Wanzers. Think along the lines of Final Fantasy Tactics. There are two independent storylines, each with their own characters, environments, and situations for up to 150 hours of gameplay.

There’s no doubt that Square Enix is releasing Front Mission 3 to prepare for their upcoming new title, Front Mission Evolved. No word on an exact release date or price but with Evolved coming out on September 17th, you can bet that it can’t be too far off.
