New gameplay footage shows us some mechanics we may not have noticed before.

iplaywinner quickly noticed a new gameplay video IGN posted on their website. The video starts off the same as the Comic-Con reveal footage, but the battle itself plays out much differently.

It looks like Kazuya’s axe kick can make Ryu bounce off the ground, allowing for Kazuya to juggle Ryu with another attack. This mechanic seems similar to Tekken 6′s bound system but the follow up window seems much more limited.

For those unaware, Street Fighter x Tekken is based on the Street Fighter IV engine. If you’re familiar with that game you’ll immediately notice the differences already.

Don’t forget that Tekken x Street Fighter was revealed today for the first time. It’s not much, but it does show a prototype Ryu model. As an added bonus, here is Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono dressed as Chun-Li.
