Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock – Megadeth trailer released

Submitted by on Tuesday, 31 August 2010One Comment

A couple of weeks ago, Neversoft revealed the full setlist for the upcoming Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. A new trailer has now been released that focuses on the Megadeth song, ‘Sudden Death’, which was written specifically for the game.

As fans have requested, the track list for Warriors of Rock is a lot more rock and metal based than that of Guitar Hero 5. One of the bands featuring prominently in this latest game is Megadeth, who are contributing three songs to the soundtrack.

Along with ‘Holy Wars… The Punishment Due’ and ‘This Day We Fight!’, is a brand new song that was written specially for Guitar Hero, called ‘Sudden Death’. It will be the final song in the main story, and – if the trailer is anything to go by – looks devilishly difficult.

In the trailer, Dave Mustaine, lead vocalist of Megadeth, says that his intention with the song was to ‘challenge the Guitar Hero community, and his hope is that it will give gamers ‘a severe ass-kicking’.

Could this track be even harder than the almost impossible ‘Through the Fire and Flames’ from Guitar Hero III? We’ll have to wait to find out until the game is released on September 24th in the UK and September 28th in North America.
