Limited Edition of Medal of Honor to include Battlefield 3 Beta invite

Submitted by on Monday, 2 August 20103 Comments

We’ve just caught wind that the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor will grant you access to the Battlefield 3 beta.

We know what you’re thinking, Battlefield 3 hasn’t been announced yet, and you’re right but that’s not stopping EA DICE from making this offer.

This tells us a couple of things.  Perhaps the most obvious is that Battlefield 3 is on the way.  Apart from that, this also sweetens the deal for the limited edition which, until now, was looking a little scrawny as far as content goes.

EA DICE also mentioned that the beta would be launching within 12 months of the Medal of Honor release date, so that puts the launch of the actual game late next year at the very earliest, although it wouldn’t surprise us to see it slide back to 2012.

Nonetheless, it’s great to see that DICE already has another project lined up for when they complete the multiplayer aspect of Medal of Honor.

Despite our recent grumblings about their lack of real support for Battlefield: Bad Company 2, they do create some of the best multiplayer action money can buy.

Be sure to stay tuned and we’ll keep you up to date should we hear anything else.  Until then, let us know in the comments section if this makes Medal of Honor any more appealing to you.
