Netflix to stream movies from Paramount, Lionsgate and MGM

Netflix is a very popular solution for Americans to stream movies and TV shows to their living rooms with the PS3. Recently it was updated with a search function, and soon we hope to a see a disc-free solution, but the company has now struck a major movie deal.

The $900 million USD contract will see movies from major studios Paramount, Lionsgate and MGM stream via Netflix, 90s after they premier on Epix, a premium cable TV channel that was launched by these three studios.

The deal starts on September the 1st, allowing PS3 owners to enjoy films such as Star Trek and Iron Man 2 in the future with ease.

Netflix is fast approaching the status as the ultimate movie and TV show service!
