Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood – dev diaries

Submitted by on Monday, 13 September 20102 Comments

assassins creed brotherhood multiplayer Assassins Creed Brotherhood dev diariesAssassin’s Creed 2 was one of the best games from 2009, that’s why we’re delighted to step back into that world again with Brotherhood. To explain the game, Ubisoft have released the ‘Brotherhood Diaries’. They’re also designed to build up some excitement; it’s working.

You may notice that this isn’t called Assassin’s Creed 3. Ubisoft didn’t think it was right to give it a title that would suggest it was a complete sequel, but don’t let this confuse you into thinking it’s a lazy spin off. Brotherhood may be set within the same world and have the same characters, but the world was so deep it definitely had much more to offer.

Taking off where Assassin’s Creed 2 ended, Brotherhood is still in Renaissance Italy with you playing as Ezio, however this time the action has moved from Florence to Rome. To give you an idea of the scale of Brotherhood, Rome is three times the size of Florence. It’s the perfect place for Ezio to lead an assassins order.

It’s hard not to get excited about Brotherhood. The squad management aspects look engrossing and Rome looks hugely impressive. Aside from all this, Brotherhood will have multi-player – it’s looking good from what we’ve seen of it so far.

Are you excited about Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood?
