Enslaved demo now available; new developer diary released

Submitted by on Tuesday, 21 September 20107 Comments

If you’ve had a chance to check out the PlayStation Store update, you may have noticed that the demo for Enslaved: Odyssey to the West has arrived.  If you haven’t… then what are you doing here, you should be downloading it!  In any case, we’ve got a new developer diary from Ninja Theory about their newest title.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is a game that is set in a futuristic American world where almost all civilization has been destroyed.  In this developer diary, Ninja Theory talks about why they created they world they did and why they chose to make it so bright and beautiful – as opposed to pretty much every other post-apocalyptic game we’ve seen.

After watching it for ourselves, we quite like the direction they’re taking and their reasons for crafting the atmosphere they did.  It’s definitely a stretch from some of the dark and violent games we see so much of these days.

In case you missed the first two developer diaries, you can find them below.  You can also find a few links to preorder the game, just in case you decide to help out your favorite 100% charitable website.
