Enslaved: Journey to the West, Ninja Theory’s first game since the PlayStation 3 exclusive Heavenly Sword, has gone gold and is due for release in Europe on the 8th of October.

Action and adventure title Enslaved is the third game developed by the small studio and will be a third-person multi-platform game set with a post-apocalyptic story.

Set 150 years in the future, you play as ‘Monkey’ who explores a barely recognisable America that has been torn apart by war and conflict, leaving only a few survivors.

Originally set to release on the 5th worldwide, we don’t feel the three day delay will affect Europeans too much, and we look forward to seeing how the game performs.
