I started INFAMOUS last night - so far so good. Its fresh for me, even though the graphics aren't great, its a break from the shooters that I play so much.

I will agree with previous posters - Its similar in many ways to Assassins Creed 2 - which I thought was amazing and was compelled to get the Platinum Trophy.

There is a month before Medal of Honor comes out and I have just found my filler. I will give it a few more hours play and will probably pre-order Infamous 2.

I loved Infamouse when I first got the demo and got the game. I played it for hours messing around. I like how they made it open world so you could roam around as you pleased. THe powers were awesome my favorite being the sticky grenade and the lightning storm.
This one I like how you can levitate and chuck cars and the camera goes to some action camera when you are fighting. Can't wait for the game to come out.

Just bought Infamous - so I will be able to contribute more effectively to this discussion in a few weeks! :o)

Well I thought Infamous was a bloody excellent game. with story that was a lot more interesting that AC2.@patsfan
I agree with Axe, it really does grow on you and there is a greater motive to play for fun rather than 'must finish this' - which AC2 tends towards.
, I disagree, AC2 is good, what with all the historical and architectural, cerebral stuff going on but as far as climby-combat games go Infamous is a bit more of an animal.

I've got and love InFamous and seriously can't wait for this game. That video has made me want the sequel even more. I only hope that we get to continue as we were in the last game as I finished evil and will continue to be. Also the powers should cross over from the last game, I hope they don't have where you lose all your powers because that's very annoying.

Looks quality. Loved the first one and got the platinum trophy for it.

Glad they decided to go back to Cole looking as he did in the first one, no idea why they messed around with his look in the first place.

The destructible towers in the vid also look good, hopefully that will expand into other structures being destructible (although I'm not expecting entire buildings to fall down like a stack of cards).

Chucking cars also looks great. I always wondered why you could never do that in the first one, you could emit a blast that would knock cars into the air, but not actually pick them up, good to see it'll be in the second.

inFamous for me was a 'grower' - I wasn't sold for the first few hours, but then it grew on me and I really enjoyed it. It's not for everyone (like most games these days), but it is easily one of the most polished and well-developed open-world interactive experiences of recent years, and for gamers like me, one of the most fun games as well :).

And yeah, the sequel looks even better :D

I did not play the first one either until i got the 1 hours PS Pluss demo, not really my style but i still bought it off the PSN store. It's okay but nothing more(me thinks).

Patsfan365 - I didn't play the first one eitheer. I played the demo and didn't really like it. I have been playing Th Force Unleashed and the game seemed to be the same. I have since heard good things and maybe I should get a copy.

The graphics in the video here look great and I will keep ear to the ground for details this title.

Off to read an Infamous review or two before picking up the original...

Looks awesome. I know i will get hate for this comment, but i havent played the first Infamous. i am still meaning to get around to that. But this one looks amazing. the melee weapon and the car levitator look awesome.
