Medal of Honor Experience Part 4: Friends From Afar

Submitted by on Monday, 20 September 20106 Comments

We had quite the stream of news flowing out of TGS last week.  In case you missed it, you can see everything we reported, here.  We came to realize today that there were a few pieces of news that didn’t come out of TGS that you may have missed, starting with a new Medal of Honor trailer.

EA and DICE have been releasing these Medal of Honor Experience videos once every couple of weeks, with the intention of building as much hype as they can for this rebooted franchise.  This video is the fourth in a series that is sure to see more as the game’s launch date moves closer.

In this video, the focus is on a sniper team that is clearing enemy forces from the battlefield.  What starts as ridding a mortar team from a nearby mountain turns in to a chase as soldiers try to escape from resistance forces.

We’ve talked many times before about our excitement for this title, so we won’t bore you with more of the same.  Instead, we just want to point out what we know from the two campaign videos we’ve seen thus far.  The first was a helicopter mission where you’re clearing a village of hostile forces.  Mix that with this video of sniping from long range and add in all the missions where you’re sure to be running and gunning like normal, and you get what looks to be a very diverse campaign.

Obviously we won’t know for sure how the entire single player game will play out until we get our hands on it, but this trailer is just another positive sign from a franchise we’re excited about.
