Believe it or not, the PlayStation 3 was released nearly four years ago, and since then the console has been graced with hundreds of great titles. Therefore, we at PS3 Attitude thought we’d take some time to pay tribute to the people who create the games that make our mundane lives just that little bit more entertaining: the developers.
Over the next few weeks we’ll be revealing our one hundred favourite developers, and believe us when we say that there are some incredibly talented teams included. We’ve now revealed the first thirty developers in our mammoth list, and today we’re revealing the next ten.
“The terror has returned, but this time you are not alone.” Those haunting words, situated at the beginning of the new Dead Space 2 trailer, confirms that EA are no longer content with giving solo frights; they now want to group a bunch of gamers together to scare the living daylights out of the lot of them, together.
Top Gun is a classic 1980s movie starring Tom Cruise and centres on elite American pilots trained to be the best of the best. This iconic movie has spawned several games over the years, and now it’s the PlayStation Network’s turn with a brand new HD title.

It’s been 20 years since the release of LucasArts’ classic graphic adventure about pirates and demonic ghosts. That was when lead designer Tim Schafer last played through Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge, but with the game recently getting the special edition treatment, there has been no better time for Schafer to indulge in a spot of nostalgia.
The location tests for Super Street Fighter IV arcade have begun in Japan and Yun and Yang are finally confirmed as playable characters.
According to the SSFIV blog, future developments regarding the console version will be announced at TGS. Will the changes from the arcade version make it as DLC? Although nothing is confirmed yet, it does seem likely.
