Planet MiniGolf patch includes more than just Move support

Submitted by on Monday, 20 September 20103 Comments

Planet MiniGolf was one of the games that received the patch treatment for the PlayStation Move over the weekend but you’ll be pleased to know that it includes a variety of other features besides support for the motion controller.

The patch, which is currently available for download, includes all of the following updates:

  • PlayStation®Move controls added
  • Refined mechanism for each putting style
  • New overview camera controls added
  • Practice mode added
  • Restart hole option for Single Play courses added
  • 3-player multiplayer mode (online/local) added
  • Custom hole rating in multiplayer modes added
  • Custom hole information on loading screen added
  • Hole magnet timeout added
  • Weekly Tournament badge bug fixed
  • All Weekly Tournament scoreboards can be browsed
  • Improved voice chat quality
  • Updated PAR values on Single Player courses

It’s good to see that some of our concerns such as camera angles are addressed in the patch. Those of you who have already downloaded the update, what are your thoughts? Does Move make the Planet MiniGolf experience any better?
