PlayStation 15th Anniversary Sale – Suikoden for only $2.99

Suikoden e1284415687585 PlayStation 15th Anniversary Sale Suikoden for only $2.99This classic Role Playing Game is now available for the unbelievably low price of $2.99.

Suikoden is one of the first RPGs released for the original PlayStation. It’s still a great game to this very day. It doesn’t have the most amazing visuals but the gameplay and story will have you hooked. Although dragons that sound like elephants are still creepy.

In Suikoden there are a total of 108 characters to recruit for your army. The overwhelming majority of characters are actually usable in combat and even if they aren’t, everyone serves a purpose in your castle.

Finding every character is no easy task. Even more difficult is keeping them alive during wars. This was one of the first games I can remember that actually leaves you with the feeling of sadness when someone dies. You’ll never get that person back and it’s something you have to live with. Unless, of course, you hit the reset button. That’s not fair though…

The 15th Anniversary Sale actually started on the 9th and it’s unknown how long this deal will last for. It might be best to just get the game as soon as you can, assuming you’re in North America. It’s amazing, people still sell Suikoden on sites like ebay and Amazon for ridiculously high prices. It’s even worse if you’re trying to get the sequel, a game that still hasn’t made it to the PlayStation Network for some reason. To many, Suikoden II is even better than the original.

The sale also include Super Rub ‘a’ Dub for $3.49 and a couple of 15th Anniversary themes (free). Yay?
