Ubisoft has announced that Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game will get DLC in November, to tie in with the DVD and Blu-ray release of Scott Pilgrim vs The World.

The content will include Knives Chau as a playable character, as well as two extra game-modes. One will be a free-for-all battle arena, similar to Super Smash Bros. and the other will be Dodgeball.

Unfortunately, online play won’t be introduced, but a patch will add drop-in drop-out play, as well as fix several bugs and some of the balance issues, making “Average Joe” a little easier.

The patch and DLC will be released in November, to coincide with the release of the Scott Pilgrim on DVD and Blu-ray, with the DLC being priced at $1.99.

Unfortunately, the title won’t get any shorter.
